Personal training is perfect for out-of-towners looking for a fun New Orleans workout, fit people who want to have a great new workout and an awesome workout buddy, and for those who are looking to learn a new skill (coaching for a race, sport, or a specific skill.) 

If you have ever wondered how you can run faster, have more endurance, get stronger, jump higher, increase your balance, gain flexibility, or how to learn a specific skill, weekly training is the right choice for you.

Some people also enjoy the luxury of not having to plan their workouts for general fitness training and they find that sticking to their workout program is easier, when they can depend on a completely reliable workout buddy.  

For weekly training, you can sign-up for as many appointments a week as you wish or you can have Iina design a training program based on the physical skills you are looking to gain and then meet with her to update your program every few weeks or as often as you find yourself progressing to the next level.

Below you can find some of Iina's favorite workouts.  Each one will be tailored to your fitness goals and level of fitness considering your likes and dislikes.

    Specific Skills Training:

    Ongoing personal training is particularly useful for developing specific skills. Here is a partial list of the types of physical skills Dr. Ester has helped her clients develop:

    • 5K, 10K, and marathon training
    • Training to compete in the Warrior Dash and Spartan Race
    • Strength and endurance training to pass the fire department biddle test
    • Correcting muscular weaknesses
    • Postural allignment and correct biomechanics
    • Increased strength and flexibility to learn advanced yoga moves
    • Increasing upper body strength and endurance for paddle boarding
    • Parkour skills and basic physical training for parkour

    "This morning was my weekly session with Iina Ester. Even though we were meeting at my house, I was late, and wearing a SUBLIME hangover along with the party clothes I'd crashed in the night before. Her reaction to all this was who she is: laughter and love.
    There is no negative judgement from Iina throughout our work; only acceptance of who and where I am at this moment, and encouragement as I move towards who and where I've said I want to be in the next moment. She doesn't try to mold me, but she'll listen to my thoughts and wishes, and then give me tools to use in order to mold myself. We've been working together 10 months, and everything has improved. My figure, my cash flow, my home life, my confidence, my peace. My relationships with people.
    Each session is different. Sometimes we meet in City Park and work out in the sun. Other times we sit in my livingroom and figure out how to schedule my time and budget my cash. Sometimes the psychological work of changing who I am can be very intense, but she's right there with me, grounding me. And sometimes she'll kick my ass if I really need it...but *only* if I really need it.
    Today's session was spent stretching on the floor (due to said hangover) and discussing how to confidently express ideas and give direction in creative settings. About halfway through, I said to her, "Iina...I'm really starting to like myself."
    And that's what Iina does. She gives you the best version of yourself. And she does it with grace, and with style."
